Paris-based Actionable raises €8.6 million to scale its predictive customer experience platform

Actionable, a Paris-based predictive analytics platform founded in 2024, has secured €8.6 million in Series A funding to expand its customer experience intelligence layer across enterprise markets. The round, led by Hi Inov with participation from existing backer Axeleo Capital, follows a €2 million pre-seed round announced in September 2024. The platform addresses a specific operational gap that CX leaders encounter repeatedly: organisations collect extensive customer data and measure satisfaction metrics, but lack the granular, actionable intelligence needed to drive immediate decisions. Rather than applying large language models atop existing data warehouses, Actionable reconstructs customer journeys within industry-specific data models that incorporate operational context—transaction histories, CRM records, web analytics, and business-specific variables like delivery times, load factors, or loyalty programme mechanics. This approach enables the platform to score entire customer bases daily across churn risk, satisfaction, complaint likelihood, and repeat-purchase probability, with causal explanations attached to each prediction.

The company's traction with major European enterprises—Carrefour, SNCF, Engie, and Edenred—demonstrates clear commercial validation, particularly the OUIGO case study where predictive interventions generated incremental revenue within weeks. This raises a critical question for CX teams already embedded in Salesforce or Zendesk ecosystems: does Actionable represent a complementary layer that sits upstream of your existing platforms, or does it signal a broader market shift toward unified predictive CX infrastructure that could eventually displace point solutions? The funding allocation toward product, engineering, and US market expansion suggests Actionable is positioning itself as foundational infrastructure rather than a bolt-on analytics tool, which has implications for how CX leaders should evaluate their technology stack maturity and data governance practices.

The platform's emphasis on business context and operational reality—what co-founder Nicolas Rieul describes as the missing "granularity a decision needs"—directly challenges the current state of many enterprise CX programmes. Most organisations running NPS dashboards or churn models lack the ability to translate insights into specific customer actions at scale. Actionable's claim that it can compress weeks of analyst work into hours through its AI agent layer addresses a genuine bottleneck in CX operations, but also raises questions about skill requirements and change management: if predictive recommendations become automated and continuous, how do support teams and CX leaders need to evolve their decision-making processes and accountability structures?
