Multiple Zendesk services including Support, Chat, Analytics, and Admin Center experienced outages on Pods 18, 20, and 29 on January 28, 2026, from 07:37 UTC to 08:53 UTC, preventing agents from responding to WhatsApp messages and blocking access to dashboards and the product tray. The incident was caused by a recent update that inadvertently removed a critical access management setting, which the engineering team resolved by reverting to the previous stable version and implementing automatic recovery mechanisms and improved monitoring for future updates.
